KARAOKE FAQ's
- Will karaoke play on a CD player? Yes, but you will not have the benefit of seeing lyrics on your TV screen. That requires a karaoke player.
- What does it mean "does not come with lead vocals"? This would be a CDG which has the lead singers voice removed so you can sing in his place. Lyrics will still be on your TV screen. CDGM has songs with and without lead vocals. These lead vocals can be removed by your speaker balance control on a regular CD player or multiplex button on your karaoke player.
- Does this song have background vocals? If the original song has background vocals, so will the karaoke version.
- Is this music from the original artists? No. Most all karaoke is recreated in the manufacturer's studio.
- What key is this song in? Not all manufacturers make this information available, but the general rule is the same as the original song in mainstream music.
- Why can't I buy this song in karaoke? Due to licensing issues or marketability issues, not all songs make it to karaoke.

Selection doesn’t just end with song titles. Pop Hits Monthly also offers the best format selection available today. You can choose from several file formats for each disc volume including CD+G, MP3+G (PC or CAVS), and Super CD+G with others to follow. Currently all of our products are only being offered on Compact Disc (CD), but other media formats such as USB drives and SD cards will soon be offered as well.

Each Party Tyme Karaoke album features 16 of the biggest hit songs of all time, with a complete selection of music to keep everyone in the family happy. These CD+Gs include graphic scripting, which allows song lyrics to appear on a TV screen when played on a CD+G karaoke machine. Lyric booklets are also included. Not the original artists!

ABOUT POCKET SONGS CDG'S
With Karaoke music, when playing a CD+G, the graphics lyrics appear on your TV Screen. You must use a CD+G karaoke machine connected to your TV when playing a CD+G disk.
Pocket Songs also provides printed lyrics with every karaoke album whether cassette, CD or CDG, for those who do not have a CD+G player. Karaoke CDGs are similar to karaoke CDs in that they can be played perfectly with no loss of quality on any CD player made.
PSCDG's with Graphics contain complete versions plus background tracks 9-10 songs per disc
JUST TRACKS (JTG) with Graphics contains 12-17 songs per disc, non-multiplex (no lead vocals, only background tracks)
